3.4.1 Finance Overview

As a managing agent you will manage your client funds either through a dedicated bank account for each block or through one (or more) bank accounts which are shared by multiple blocks. These later bank accounts are known in Blocks Online as ‘Group Bank Accounts’.

If you manage separate bank accounts for each block then all of the necessary functions are performed in the Block Area of the system. However, if you have one or more ‘Group Bank Accounts’ then you undertake the finance functions in the Workbench.

If you do have Group Bank Accounts then you should contact Blocks Online Support to ensure that they are set-up correctly in the system.
