5.4.4 Documents

The Documents area of the Portal allows the Agent to publish documents that may be of interest to property owners.


Every document that is loaded into the Blocks Online system is allocated a Document Type. 
These are some examples of Document Types:
  • Insurance documents
  • Company Association Documents
  • Budget and Service Charge Accounts
  • Companies House submissions
These document types are controlled within the Portal Settings in the Workbench Settings screen. More info on this KB article: 5.2.1 Portal Setting - Workbench

Regular Portal Users
Through the Portal Documents option, property owners are able to view all documents that have been published.

Management Team / Directors
Management Team / Director users can see which document types are visible to Leaseholders if it is flagged as LH. 


Agent
The Agent is able to load documents through the document management option:
  • Block Area: block -> document management
  • When one of the published Document Types is chosen, the user is given a warning message informing them that the document will be published in the portal.
