1.1 Welcome to the Blocks Online User Guide
Blocks Online offer a comprehensive and fully integrated suite of web-based block management software with built-in best practice to support Residential Managing Agents and Property Management Companies. The user-friendly online system is ideal for Managing Agents that have busy schedules, as they can sign up quickly and maintain blocks without spending too much time. No software needs to be installed, due to the system being in the cloud, meaning users can access the information anywhere, any time and on any device.
This Online User Guide (Knowledge Base) provides information to Managing Agents on how to use the Blocks Online web-system. This user-guide has a number of distinct sections:
- Implementation – This provides a management overview on how to approach the implementation of the system and items to consider when migrating an existing business to Blocks Online.
- Workbench – This section of the guide describes the Workbench area of the system which is used to perform agent-wide activities and review information relating to all blocks being managed.
- Block Area – This section of the guide describes the Block Area of the system which is used to access information and perform activities relating to the management of a single block.
- Leaseholder Portal – This section of the guide describes the Leaseholder Portal which gives leaseholders access to the Blocks Online system.
- Ticketing – This section of the guide describes the Ticketing module which is used to keep track of tasks and activities being undertaken by an Agent’s employees.
- Credit Control – This section of the guide describes the Credit Control module which provides a range of facilities to support the management of service charge and ground rent debtors.
- Distribution Manager - This section of the guide describes how to distribute documents to leaseholders.
